TERESA BISSON, PT, MS, NCS, ATP

Teresa Bisson is the newest member of the Bodyscape team.  Teresa was born and raised in Michigan, and grew up developing her love of music, theatre, and being active in the beautiful outdoors of the Upper Peninsula.  She learned about physical therapy in high school and quickly became interested in guiding people in their journeys to restore their movement, return to active lives, and establish balance in the body-mind connection.  She earned her Masters degree in Physical Therapy from Grand Valley State University in Grand Rapids, Michigan, in 2002. 

Teresa’s physical therapy practice has included five years at Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center, focusing on inpatient and outpatient care, as well as seating and positioning for both manual and power wheelchairs.  She obtained her Assistive Technology Professional certification in 2007.  Teresa is a Neurologic Certified Specialist (NCS) with expertise in working with people who have been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, stroke, traumatic brain injury, and spinal cord injury.  She also served as a PT for the performing artists of the LA tour of the musical WICKED at the Pantages Theatre.
