JACKIE KOPCSAK

Jackie Kopcsak was first introduced to GYROTONIC^® through Leslie Frank at Bodyscape as part of rehabilitation following a dance-related knee injury. Seeing remarkable improvement in her own body and recognizing the tremendous benefits the GYROTONIC Expansion system^® could bring into the lives of both super athletes and soccer moms, Jackie recently became a licensed Level One GYROTONIC^® Instructor.

Jackie received her dance training through Pacific Northwest Ballet School in Seattle. She holds a BA in History magna cum laude from the University of Washington where she founded and directed the university’s first ballet company. Jackie is also an American Ballet Theatre® Certified Teacher, having successfully completed the ABT® Teacher Training Intensive in Primary through Level 3 of the ABT® National Training Curriculum. She currently choreographs and teaches for Pasadena Civic Ballet, Huntington Middle School (San Marino) and the Red Chair School of Performing Arts (Burbank).
